This set up worked perfect, i'm 63 years old and i have been kayaking since my days serving the military, i love kayaking and i go everywhere between ohio and pennsylvania, this bracket sat right down into my rod holders, i attached a 36lb thrust trolling motor to it which did make my kayak a bit too heavy on that side of the kayak, but!
